  • ALBALA HAM0002C02 DUAL ANALOG AUDIO EMBEDDER/DE-EMBEDDER FOR 3G/HD/SD-SDI

    The HAM0002C02 is a dual embedder and de-embedder for eight channels of analog audio and a 3G/HD/SD-SDI digital video signal in electrical or optical format.
    The HAM0002C02 includes two BNC connectors that correspond to two electrical SDI interfaces that can be independently configured as inputs or outputs. It also includes a cage for housing an optional SFP module that can provide two additional optical SDI interfaces that also can be inputs or outputs depending upon the type of module installed.
    The HAM0002C02 can be configured to take the signal to be used in one section from one of the two interfaces (electrical or optical) of that section or to take the signal to be used from one of the interfaces of the adjacent section. In addition, the signal delivered to each of the sections can be simultaneously distributed to the electrical and optical interfaces of that same section.
    The analog audio interfaces are shared between the embedder and the de-embedder and therefore must be configured as inputs or outputs depending upon the function of the HAM0002C02. This configuration is done on a pair-by-pair basis using the control software. This feature makes the HAM0002C02 a versatile piece of equipment that can be used at either end of an audio distribution chain.
    The HAM0002C02 includes two audio processors, one for each section, capable of: managing the embedding of various audio groups into the output, applying gains and delays and inversion of phase of each channel independently. The two channels of an audio pair can also be combined to form a monophonic signal.
    In order to simplify installation and maintenance the HAM0002C02 provides information about the status of audio being processed. This information can be accessed using the control software or it can be inserted into the active video via program peak meters (PPMs). Included in this information are: overload indicators for the analog interfaces, peak level meters for the embedded audio being delivered, indicators for the presence of audio groups and indicators for the presence of errors in the embedded audio being received.
    The HAM0002C02 also provides analog audio outputs for headphones using a 3.5mm stereo jack. The audio pair sent to the jack for monitoring is selectable and it gain is adjustable.
    The HAM0002C02 also provides four GPIs and four GPOs. The GPIs are used to load the first four presets. The GPOs have two possible functions: in the first the GPOs indicate whether or not the video signal at the input is correct, in the second each GPO indicates whether or not one of the four presets is active.

    The EOP0001C01 is a dual digital video signal converter for optical-to-electrical format conversion and vice versa.
    The EOP0001C01 operates with 270 Mbit/s (SD-SDI and DVB-ASI), 1.5 Gbit/s (HD-SDI) and 3 Gbit/s (3G-SDI) signals.
    The EOP0001C01 provides one cage for an optical SFP module that can function as a dual transmitter or dual receiver. Two BNC connectors are also provided that can function either as inputs or outputs, depending upon how the unit will be used.
    If the SFP module inserted is a dual optical transmitter then the BNC connectors are configured as inputs. If the SFP module inserted is a dual receiver, then the BNC connectors are configured as outputs.
    The signal received is always re-synchronized for delivery to the outputs.
    The SFP modules are sold separately and also function as dual transmitters or receivers. Albal? Ingenieros sells the MSFPTP01 transmitter and the MSFPRP01 receiver, both of which are 100% compatible with the EOP0001C01.

    The DAD0002C01 module is a distributor for balanced digital signals with four outputs per section and two identical sections. The input is loaded and transformer isolated. Each output is also transformer isolated. A LED on the front panel indicates input signal presence for each section.
    The distributor is based upon lineal amplifiers and performs no manipulation on the signals received. Although this module has been designed to operate with balanced AES/EBU signals, due to the lack of internal processing the DAD0002C01 is capable of distributing other digital signals transmitted over balanced cabling as long as the signals are within the specified bandwidth.

    The AVD0001C01 is a wide bandwidth analog video distributor for standard definition (525 and 625 lines) and high definition (720p, 1080i and 1080p) signals. It is comprised of one section that can distribute a loop-through input signal to eigth outputs.
    The AVD0001C01 includes a DC-coupled amplifier-distributor between the input and the outputs, a DC restorer with two operating mode (fast and slow) and an equalizer capable of compensating up to 300 meters of Belden 1694A controlled by two potentiometers on the side of the unit. The AVD0001C01 also allows the input to be terminated by 75 ohms when a loop-through connection is not required.
    The AVD0001C01 includes an ON LED on the front panel to indicate when electrical power is connected, an LED to indicate the presence and format of the video signal being distributed and three switches to configure the DC restorer and the input termination.

    The HVD0001C01 is a small-format SDI digital video distributor that features autonomous operation. It provides one input and eight outputs for distribution of digital video for all formats commonly found in television production environments: SD at 270 Mbit/s, HD at 1.5 Gbit/s and HD at 3 Gbit/s. The HVD0001C01 can also distribute DVB-ASI signals however in this case only four of the outputs are usable.
