Many woodwind instruments have a reed (wood or plastic) attached to the mouthpiece on the underside. When the clarinet is blown into, a tone is produced by the vibration of the reed. In the Clarinéo 2.0, this reed is made of durable plastic. The mouthpiece as well as the reed have a guide notch which makes inserting the reed easy and child friendly.As with all NUVO instruments, the NUVO Clarinéo 2.0 is built in the basic pitch of C. It is lighter and smaller than a Bb clarinet and has a full, mellow tone. Without transposing, you can play all the notes of a C voice: Recorder, piano, flute, or vocal notes. This makes it particularly suitable for basic, general music lessons. It is 100% waterproof and can be easily cleaned regularly with warm water and a few drops of dishwashing detergent.The equipment of the NUVO Clarinéo 2.0 includes a mouthpiece attachment, two NUVO plastic reeds in the instrument, 1 cane reed, Étui with strap, special grease for all joints, pull-through cleaning cloth,  and the NUVO introductory leaflet.
