Using Elgar’s sketches, Robert Walker has prepared a three-movement piano concerto with an opening movement, a cheerful intermezzo, and a rondo-finale. Walker spent15 years at Brinkwells, Elgar’s country estate, and drew on several pages of well-developed sketches.
