Article 1 – Protection of Personal Data

This is part of the General Agreement on “Terms and Conditions” and describes the management framework of information and personal data followed on the website “Domain name of the Website” (hereinafter referred to as “Website”) of the company “https://visionofsound.gr / ELECTRONIC STORE OF SOUND TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS, MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS AND LIGHTING” (hereinafter referred to as the “Company”).

The “Company” complies with the provisions of the European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data (EU 2016/679) and the relevant Greek legislation (Law 2472/1997 as amended and in force), manages the Personal Data disclosed to it with the utmost care, ensuring, in any case, their protection and privacy.

The “Webpage” collects personal data that is disclosed to the “Visitor / User” when they register themselves on its services.

The management and protection “Visitor ‘s/User’s” personal data regarding the services of the “Website” is subject to the terms of this section as well as to the relevant Hellenic Republic provisions (Law 2472/1997 for the protection user’s personal data as amended and in force) as well as the European law (Directive (EU) 2016/679).

We recognize the importance of personal data protection (Law 2472 / 1997) as well as to electronic transactions and for that reason:

The processing of personal data attached in your order, regarding the process of your successful product purchasing is carried out, under a relevant contract with the company Alpha Bank e-commerce. Transactions are protected and carried out in a secure transaction environment of this company with services such as (American Express SafeKey®, Verified by Visa, MasterCard Secure Code, alerts via e-mail). The information at this stage and all communication is transmitted / transferred via the Internet in an encrypted form (SSL 128-bit encryption) it is not accessible from the online store of the “Company’.
  8. Invoice Data: In case you choose the invoice as payment document, we need the company name, VAT number, and address of its registered office.
  9. Internet Addresses (IP Addresses): The Internet Address (IP Address) through which your computer has access to the internet (Internet), then through your web browser it will communicate with the “Website” and it is used exclusively for the collection of statistics relating to the security of transactions.

From the 25-5-2018 with the application of the new provisions of the European Regulation for the Protection of Personal Data (EU 2016/679) the service of sending newsletters will be available only for the registered members who have access to subscription services for as long as they remain active subscribers. After the above-mentioned date the newsletters forwarding requires the explicit written consent from the active registered subscribers, whenever this is required.

  • Gathering of Personal Data: The “Company” may use your personal information collected on the “Website” for the provision of various electronic services or for informational, statistical and service improvement purposes as well as for marketing purposes.
    • The “Website” uses the personal data of “Visitors/Users” and “Registered Members” for the following reasons:
  • To inform and support its users and the selection of the content which offers to them, so that it is relevant to their general preferences.
  • To provide personalized services during your visit / use, of our website and online services, such as to provide content that interests you most or to facilitate your browsing.

  • Technical data protection measures: The “Website” uses security certificate technology (SSL – Secure Sockets Layer Certificate). From the start until the end of user’s connection (on-line session) with the digital platform of the “Website”, all information and personal data are encrypted based on the SSL 128-bit encryption protocol. Sensitive data such as “Security Codes” (passwords etc.), are encrypted with powerful methods of Encryption and Pseudonymisation and are stored with absolute security by the Data Protection Officer (DPO).
  • This Privacy Policy covers all personal data of the “Visitors / Users” and “Registered Members” collected by the “Website” during the visit and use of the services and pages of the “Website”. This agreement does not in any way cover the relationship between “Visitors / Users” and the “Registered Members” of the “Website” and any services that are not subject to the control and / or ownership of the “Company”.

Article 3 – Applicable law – Court Jurisdiction

The above terms and conditions of use of the “Website”, as well as any modification, change or alteration are governed by and supplemented by the laws of the Hellenic Republic and the of the European Union. Any provision of the above terms becomes contrary to law, automatically ceases to be valid and is removed from the present, without in any way affecting the validity of the other terms. This constitutes the entire agreement between the “Company” and the “Visitor/User”, “Registered Member” of the pages and services provided through the “Website” and binds only them. No modification of these terms will be considered and will not form part of this agreement unless it has been formulated in writing and incorporated into it. It is expressly agreed that for any dispute that may arise in the future from the above-mentioned terms and agreements, applicable are the laws of the Hellenic Republic, the European Union laws and the jurisdiction courts of Ioannina.
